Can I continue to collect CA unemployment while starting my own corporation
I have a chance for my corporation (a legal Type S corp) to earn $5,000 -- but I will have to buy almost $6,000 in equipment to do the job, so I will end up losing money in the short term. Does this $5,000 gross income for the corp count against me for unemployment? Or does it not because the corp is making no profit (and I am not paying myself a salary.)
