      Answer7:I used to work as a consumer journalist for many years. I have never found a work at home business that was profitable or legit. Thats not to say you couldnt start your own business from home and be successful. For example if you started a home or business cleaning service. Also selling Avon or Mary Kay could be a business you start from your home, but you work in "the field." Finally, you could consider real estate a home business as many do a lot of work from their home. With all of that said, a business like stuffing envelopes is a very bad idea and a rip off. Its harder to be an entrepreneur, but its very rewarding and there are many businesses you can start with a very little amount of money.

      Answer10:there is a company online called Speak-write, AlpineAcess, and Arise. They are typing jobs. I havent applied to them, but I got their names from a local newspaper article. I would DEFINATELY not join any "work at home" offers that require you to pay for software or other stuff, it is probly a scam, no legit company I would think would bilk you out of $$ to work for them. Also those multi-level marketing jobs such as selling travel tours, nutritional supplements, beauty products, that claim you can make a lot of money but you must find customers thru your family, friends, coworkers etc. They usually sell you a "get started kit" with samples of the product, a website, etc etc....anything like that, Beware!! I lost a bunch of money that way with 2 companies that my "friends" recommended. They make $ off your sales and you are to make $ off your recruits and their sales.(on and on) The higher ups make $$ off everyone below them and are RICH. Its a scam...Unless you have a lot (a LOT) of ppl you can convince to buy stuff and then sell stuff to other ppl, have "sale parties", go to training which costs you, spend considerable time working to succeed, have time and money, time and more money (lol) and on and on. I could keep going,.. but you catch the drift.

Recently my father started his own business. I work for him and put every dime into a 401k , I am in my early 20s. I was thinking how my father planed his business out for about 6 years. After a couple of months of working for him, and not needing any of the money I make from him with only, at most, 11 hours of work a week for him. I find myself thinking of starting my own business in about 10 years. I want to open a Arcade/Retro Gaming store. Not tickets and prizes, just good ol fashioned gaming. I was thinking of 5 - 8 Arcade Machines, classic retro ones, maybe a newer one or two. A couple of Pinball Machines. 2 Skeeball Machines. A couple of sit down racer arcades, I have my eye on two Mario Kart versions. Then I would like to have perhaps, 5 or 6 TVs set up in small booth like areas with comfortable seating and have older systems like Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Sega Gen. ect. Add a coke machine and a vending machine with offers of lock ins on the weekends and I think I may have something going in a decade or two. So, I know its been a long paragraph, but the questions I am wondering. Are there anything like grants or what not for a business to start? or maybe Loans? Things of that nature. Any info will be appreciated.
