Just started a small business and need some direction

Iam a Computer Technician and Im just starting out helping people fixing there computers from home. Because I just cant find regular work, I dont know how much I should charge the customer for getting there computers fixed. The last customer I charged her $20 to look at the computer about $20 for parts and labor. How much should I charge to fix pcs and laptops? and realize this is only part time just to make a little money until I find a job.
Answer1:I think you are undercharging your services. If you look on sites such as craigslist and gumtree, typically it costs about $50 to get someone to help reinstall software and other menial tasks and more if there is a hardware issue that requires hardware replacement it will cost at least 75 dollars. It costs more when you go to places like circuit city and best buy. To make your services more attractive you can advertise on such sites and also make sure the amount of time that you use to fix the computers are less than one would have to wait if one was to go to circuit city. Good luck!!
Answer2:Dear Frend!!you should take into account that how much is ur transportation charges, if u go for fixing the problem of individuals who are far away from u.furthermore, u should ask other technicians that how much they charge for fixing the same problem.then u shuld fix a price for urself that this amount should i charge to persons who are near and this amount should i charge to those who are far away.

Lets say i started a business locating hud refunds i know this seems like a scam whenever anyone hears it

so Im trying to go about it an entirely different route. I already invested in a couple of refund lists supposedly from HUD itself so I would like to start this now but I would like a little insight on how to make this appear as legit as I want to make it. What would make it a more comfortable experience for you if you were searching for a refund but kept getting sidelined by schemers? This is a marketing question before i invest anymore money into this business.
Answer1:HUD had over 50,000 people who were owed refunds. You dont have to pay for the list. They will give it to you. I knocked on some doors so they would know it was real. I knew that any letters would not be read. The people have moved. HUD sent my refund to my old address. Even tho they knew that i had sold that house; thats why i was getting the refund. So you need to be a detective and find the people at www.ZABASEARCH.com and www.SWITCHBOARD.com..
