im an engineering graduate, seeking online jobs(part time only) like data entry, web designing... when i google for it, there ae thousands of sites offering such jobs... how many of them are genuine..? my friends say tat most of them are spams... where can i find a job online...?i live in india(if this could help...)

      Answer3:Many of them are likely not what you want but some are legit. If you use a major job board that costs money you will weed out more of the scams (not all). Instead try networking with friends and alum. Use www.linkedIn.com to find Alum and your target list of 15 companies. Call those people and let them know about you. They will probably get a nice referral fee for placing you so dont be afraid to call and say HI- I saw you on LinkedIn- can we talk for a minute? You can also use a few reputable search firms to help you in your search- they often have ins with the companies you want and that can help you to get a foot in the door.GOOD LUCK!...but luck has very little to do with it- its how much effort you put in. Make 15+ calls daily and keep track of them on a spreadsheet or desk calendar- get to the right people, send "them" your resume and follow up on a weekly schedule.
