I have numerous questions about an LLC opportunity

I work in the security/network installation business. I have a job offer to think about but I dont know enough about it to make a decision. It is a company that buys up large buildings and makes them "green", installing solar panels and such to make them energy efficient. Here is where I am confused. They want me to start my own LLC through them instead of hiring me straight up. I would get my own company name, truck, and client list through them. They plan on hiring help for me through them and are setting me up with their legal team to assist me with taxes and such. I am required to work 40 hrs through them, and after that I am welcome to do work for anyone else I choose since I am a subcontractor. Does anyone out there know anything about this? Ive never owned my own business. What about insurance, such as my personal medical and dental, and do I need to get accident insurance or anything? Any info would really help. This almost sounds too good to be true, so I want to do as much research as possible. Thanks for your help!
