How does one apply for short sale of home

how long does it take to apply?
Answer1:you have to talk to your mortgage company - no guarantee they will allow it
Answer2:Hey Richard -This is a tricky subject, but think about this:If you are paying your mortgage every month, what reason does the bank have to accept a short sale? The bank will take a short sale to prevent a home being foreclosed on. They would rather take whatever is negotiated during the short sale than try to recoup their expenses when the house goes to auction.Good luck!PS - oh, yeah, also it can take 4 to 6 months to complete a short sale - FYI

Should a 14 year old start to apply for jobs

i dont know bc i want $ to save and to spend and some places close by can hire 14 year olds but then i would have to catch up on hw and hanging with friends....!!!
Answer1:okay, its really unusual for someone to hire a 14 year old. wait til you are 15.. even then it will still be hard.
Answer2:Teens! Here is a great 1st time job. Legit. You will get a check in your mailbox. No scam here. Ive been paid 13 times.http://tennisgeezer.googlepages.com/make...This really works! You might click my link for details.
Answer3:Retail and service businesses cant legally hire 14 year olds in most states due to child labor laws. A minor must be at least 15 and have parental consent to get a work permit, and even then, theyre not allowed to work any hours after sunset until theyre 16.If you want to work at 14, youre going to have to go the traditional route... babysitting, lawnmowing/snowshovelling, paper route, etc.
Answer4:child labor laws make it very hard for people under age 16 to get much of any kind of a paycheck job - your allowable work schedule is very limited during the school year
Answer5:I couldnt get a job when I was 14 because of child labor laws, so I had to resort to the old-fashioned stuff like babysitting, yard work, and pet sitting. When I was 15, Sonic hired me as a car-hop...15 years and a bachelors degree later, I still consider it my favorite job of all time. I worked there for about 4 years...started out at minimum wage, plus you get tips. Great money for a young teenager.

How do you apply for a grant

I want to start a small business, which grants are the best ones to apply for
Answer1:forget it - they don;t give grants for that
Answer2:It is hard to find grants to start a business. Unlike the myths that some perpetuate, federal government and even private foundations hardly give grant money for starting a for-profit business. One possible exception is for companies developing or exporting agricultural goods, including food and forest product. Another exception could be the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs http://www.sba.gov/aboutsba/sbaprograms/... , which fund the research and development of technological innovation that meets specific government needs.Your best bet actually will be from the states if they offer grant programs for women (or any other special interest groups -- minorities, women, disabled, veterans, etc). Or check with non profit organizations, particularly women organizations if they offer grants. Examples includeIowa Womens Foundation http://www.iawf.org/New Mexico Womens Foundation http://www.nmwf.org/guidelines.htmlEven SBA does NOT give out grants. From the SBA website http://www.sba.gov/mostrequesteditems/CO..."The U.S. Small Business Administration does not offer grants to start or expand small businesses, although it does offer a wide variety of loan programs. (See http://www.sba.gov/financing for more information) While SBA does offer some grant programs, these are generally designed to expand and enhance organizations that provide small business management, technical, or financial assistance. These grants generally support non-profit organizations, intermediary lending institutions, and state and local governments."Nonetheless, you can go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov - these are two sites created by the federal government to provide transparency and information on grants. Browse through the listings and see if you can find any grant that would support a for-profit venture. Here is a listing of federal grants for small businesses. See if there is any available for individuals for starting a business -- THERES NONE.http://12.46.245.173/pls/portal30/CATALO...Most of the federal grants are given to specific target groups with specific requirements (e.g. minority business owners involved in transportation related contracts emanating from DOT - Grant#20.905 Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Short Term Lending Program Grants are also often given to non profit groups or organizations involved in training or other similar activities (grant 59.043 Womens Business Ownership Assistance that are given to those who will create womens business center that will train women entrepreneurs

Where do you apply for gov grant money to start a business

Has anyone applied and received grant money, was it a difficult process to go through.
Answer1:There are scams out about getting grants to buy a car or pay off your bills, etc. These are scams. There are no government grants for private individuals to start a business. You can look around for venture capital or try and get a loan from a bank. Thats about it.
