I have been selling on ebay for a while now and can never decide on whether to list my items on auctions or buy it now.. What do you prefer?? I want peoples opinions, thanks
Answer1:im always on ebay, and 90% of the time i use the buy it now option. Ive bid on a few things in the past tho
Answer2:Bid, becasue if you start at a low price people think theyre getting a bargain. You can always put a reserve if you are worried the item will sell too cheap!:)x
Answer3:Ive bough hundreds of things on Ebay but personally I like the buy it now option better - instant results! You can advertise things as both I believe.
Answer4:I prefer to bid, because when you win an auction its a great feeling like you really deserve the item, but if you bid price could get too high so buy it now is still a good option. I use both but prefer to bid.
Answer5:I think it depends on what you are selling and what price you are looking for, for your item.If you are selling a £200 TV and set it as a Buy It Now option eBay will normally take a substantial final value fee from you - £12 plus. However auctioning it off could mean you loose a fair bit of money if it doesnt get enough interest and of course your insertion costs and final value fee will be totaling £10-£15. What I tend to do is set a Buy It Now price and an auction start off. So if I was selling a TV for £200 I would set the Buy It Now price as £200 and an auction price of about £180 to entice visitors to go for the Buy It Now price. So basically if it costs use either Buy It Now or Buy It Now/Auction and If you are selling something that is under £20 I would recommend the auction method.
Answer6:I definitely prefer bidding. I like to watch things and sometimes buy it now prices are just so high. I sometimes look for clothes that may have sold out in say Topshop for example, but then people put them on Ebay with a buy it now price of over double the original price! I would much rather something started at a lower price and there is a fair bidding war. x
Answer7:If you sell a lot of stuff - I would just test it by providing both options and see what gets the best result over a period of time.A

We were asked to bid on a local doctors office for a weekly cleaning. It is two levels and has 6 restrooms. The majority of the work would be sweeping all the carpet and sweeping and mopping all the exam and office rooms. It has around 20 individual rooms upstairs and down. It also has a break room, waiting area, and reception area. Other then the sweeping and mopping we would only have to do some minor dusting and things like that. What would be a good rate to go by or a good base price? It is only me and my Husband so no employees to pay and very low supply costs!

ive looked on a few sites and my town, of course, usually doesnt come up... is there any other suggestions u guys have to help me?
      Answer1:www.craigslist.com
Answer2:I wouldnt really trust the internet maybe try some schools
Answer3:You dont. Trying to get that kind of job on the Internet is just asking for trouble from the pervs and killers out there. You should try the bulletin board at your church, or ask your parents to put the word out to their friends, or even ask your friends for references. If you live in a good neighborhood you can distribute fliers to the people with kids. There are also places, such as the YWCA, that teach basic babysitting courses. They often get calls from people looking for babysitters. Take a course, get a certificate (usually only a couple of classes to do it) and get put on their referral list.Good luck.
Answer4:Personally, I would never hire anyone over the internet to babysit for me. I think you are wasting your time. Get out and go to different places where you can put up fliers or something.
Answer5:Dont be stupid to do something like this over the internet!! There are millions of predators and perverts that are looking for people as naive as you!! Use word of mouth, through people you know and trust only.

My mom is the owner and only cook for her restaurant. The restaurant is getting busier and busier as time goes on and I think shes getting overwhelmed. The orders just pour in and she works as fast and hard as she can, but sometimes the wait for the food is pretty long.Do you have any advice on what to do? Is it okay for the customers to just wait? Very rarely do they complain. Her sister is going to be coming to the US to help cook, but theres only one stove in the kitchen, so I dont know how much its going to really help. If anything, itll allow my mom to go home. Thanks for the advice, Im worried about my mom and her business.
Answer1:She could hire someone to help her out. Obviously the food is GREAT otherwise you probably wouldnt see the business doing so well. and if it is that good then people maybe willing to wait the 45 etc minutes!! Keep up the good work!

http://goodsurveysites.com Its what I do and its worked out pretty well. What you have to do is complete surveys and offers for companies that want the publics opinion. No payment from you is ever required, not to sign up, not EVER.The sites dont get paid directly from you, but when you complete an offer or survey, they also get paid a small portion of what you earned yourself. For example, if you complete a survey about computers lets say, you would earn maybe $2 and the web site itself would recieve $0.50 from the company also for getting you to complete the survey. These surveys take little time at all, most taking up less than even 1 or 2 minutes of your time. They don’t need any information other than your name, email address and your home address. Yup, that is all. No credit card information, no banking information, nothing like that. All they require is your name and address so that your cheque can be sent to your home every month.Personally I have been a member of these websites, along with thousands of other satisfied users, for approximately 1.5 years now and have earned well over $8600 by working in my spare time. This web site has been great to me, also the members and administrator are very friendly, and are always there to help you with a question or problem you may be having. I give you my word that they pay.
Answer1:ALL of the ON-Line "money makers" either expect you to work for pennies an houror get involved in ILLEGAL pyramid scams ... or somethingPlease look up "building CD Modulators at home"Get the picture?SNOT REEL!Go get a REAL JOB! Produce something!Good Luck!.
Answer2:Its called a website with ads on it, use videos on youtube to send people to your site. You get paid when they click on ads. Google owns adsense, the first person is wrong (Im level 1 didnt give you thumbs down either), there is many legit ways to make money online. Sure they take work in the beginning, but its just like any business and lots of people online pay to advertise, so build a site that gets visitors and either sign up for google adsense or rent out spots on the site to those who are advertising through adwords and offer them a better deal than adwords does.

Answer4:you must visit www.tripleclicks.com.......... i hav got a job there......u may find one too ......it is easy ...all the training are given by them themselves... so no starting trouble 4 sure
Answer5:Actually starting a new business in the recession is the best thing you can ever do. Most successful entrepreneurs and companies started out in the recession . It is as simple as that; If you make it successfully through the recession you will make it any time. My best recommendation to you is to setup an online store of some sort and sell products or services. A good place to start is eBay or Amazon. Focus you attentions on things that will work long term. Try to build a business that is unique and offers a new thing to the table.
Answer6:It is very easy to do. I am assuming you would create a sole proprietorship (1 person company, you are the only owner), so no tax work would be required. You would just put the business earnings straight onto your income tax statement.First you need to decide what you want to sell. It can be anything online. I was reading about a guy who started off buying and repairing old swords and then reselling them, now he makes over $30,000 a month in profits with his business. Finding something unique or a niche area is definitely a good place to start with an online business. Next you will want to think of a name for your business. This in many cases is one of the hardest areas when starting a business. You want something that is on topic, has a nice ring, and is catchy. After you decide on the name, go about buying a website domain. You can do that a number of places like godaddy or 1&1. Next, you will want to find a website host. Do not go cheap here. A host is one of the most important aspects to an online business. If you pick a lousy host, your site will be down quite a bit and you will not receive the traffic that you intended. So, research hosts quite vigorously, so you do not end up with a bad one. After that, you will want to create your website. I would recommend having somebody else build it for you. This can be done for as little as $100 online, or maybe cheaper if you know a friend who is good at that sort of thing. You want it to look professional. Remember, when shopping online, the website is the most important aspect of the business, and if it looks bad or cheap, you may lose business. A good tip for increasing your business traffic when up and running is to subscribe to Google AdWords. For as little as a $100 a month, you can buy the rights to certain key word searches. This will greatly increase your sites traffic, and will usually pay for itself if done properly.Basically, that is it. List your products on your website and good luck.

Answer3:I use and write in my planner each day so I can keep track of my day to day activities, work, and business. Personal time is market Blocked Personal Time and that means that I cant schedule anything while on personal time. If you are having a hard time managing you time, you should start with a weekly planner and start writing in it and take it every where you go. Make sure though your planner is small enough to fit in you briefcase or back pocket, or you can just get a palm pilot and go digitial with a stylus.Hope this helps!
