My mom is the owner and only cook for her restaurant. The restaurant is getting busier and busier as time goes on and I think shes getting overwhelmed. The orders just pour in and she works as fast and hard as she can, but sometimes the wait for the food is pretty long.Do you have any advice on what to do? Is it okay for the customers to just wait? Very rarely do they complain. Her sister is going to be coming to the US to help cook, but theres only one stove in the kitchen, so I dont know how much its going to really help. If anything, itll allow my mom to go home.Thanks for the advice, Im worried about my mom and her business.

That would be considered a gift to you, and you dont have to report it.If theyre actually giving you a payment in return for some sort of goods or services, though, then that is INCOME, and yes, you have to report every penny of it. The only way money given is considered a "donation" is if its being given to a registered non-profit charity. I doubt thats the case here.

I do have a paypal account but because of loosing my bank card and having a new one issused a few weeks ago my bank keeps refusing a payment to paypal, so i have deleted the old bank account and added a new one.But the problem is, I owe money on ebay and the seller only accepts paypal, I thought they used to be an option on Paypal so that you could make a one off payment without having an account & having to register your card.Is it possible, becuase i cant find this option on the site anywhere!Thanks Answer1:Without having a pay pal account you cant pay the amount.
