Answer1:I have a friend wanting to start a LIQUOR STORE and told me he needs 1 million just to get all the stuff you need. We live in Dallas so it may be less where you live.. but not by much. Try partnering up with someone or a group of investors who likw to drink. Good Luck.

Is it a good idea for a 17 yr old to sell stuff on eBay

im 17 years old and normal "teenage" jobs like fast food restaurants and all that crap just arent me. i have TONS of clothes and they are nice name brand clothes and i think i could sell them and make easy profit. but im not sure how the shipping works, i mean what do you have to buy to ship the clothes to the buyer? if someone who has done this before could tell me how to do it i would really appreciate it.
Answer1:No. When youre 17 you dont have the legal right to enter into a contract, which selling merchandise involves. It may not be written as a contract but its obviously implied.
Answer2:If you want a legit and convenient way to make money check out my blog below. It is a free online program and anyone 13 and older can make money from this site.
Answer3:i doubt you can sell things on ebay as a minor.. also you would need a paypal account (not *necessary*, but will make things much easier since you wont have to worry about waiting for checks to clear, or money orders getting lost in the mail).as for shipping the products, you charge the buyer however much it costs for you to ship the products. you can ship them usps priority mail, and the priority mail boxes/labels are free. plus, they have flat-rate shipping boxes available, so you can state the shipping cost on your ebay listing so the buyer knows how much it is in advance. anyway you would send out the products AFTER you receive payment. why dont you ask your parents if you can list your things on their ebay/paypal account? if they dont have one already, have them open an account you can use? if something were to go wrong, your parents will be responsible, so HAVE YOUR PARENTS REVIEW WHAT YOU WROTE AND GET PERMISSION **BEFORE** posting the products. then you can be the one taking the photos, listing and describing the products youre trying to sell, then make sure you ship out the orders on time.
Answer4:you need a paypal account and be over 18.you could have your mom sell it or make an ebay account till you get 18.shipping just go to ups.com or usps.com,should know the weight of it before sending it.for clothes just get some of the boxes that im sure you got when you were a kid.
Answer5:As regards your age, it may create problem. But you can override it by using your parents name. For shipping, you have to do some research. As eBay means the whole planet is involved, you need to decide which countries can avail your service. And once you decide that, check out the different shipping services that offer safe and cost-friendly service. It may also happen that for some countries, the courier company A is better while for another country, the courier company B will be better. Make a note of this.If possible, talk to their representatives in your area for further discounts considering that it is a long term association. Most of them will be more than happy to join hands with you. Some services may charge different prices for different regions in a country. Work on it and reach the average before posting the shipping charges to your product cost.Hope this satisfies your query.
Answer6:its really easy once you get the hang of it. first you need a checking account. you can set one up at your local bank, and you usually need to have a minimum of $25 in it. then you need to set up a PayPal account. (www.paypal.com) when customers pay you, the money goes into this account, and you can transfer it straight into your checking account. just think of PayPal as a holding account. the easy part is listing your items. to do this, just click on "sell" on the ebay homepage. you just follow the guides, and put up pictures of the items. ebay charges for every pictures over 1 and every enhancement you do to the listing. it usually costs about $.50/listing, and you have to pay this even if the item doesnt sell. you pay selling fees once a month, which is deducted out of your checking account.good luck. (if you need any more help, email me....ive sold tons of stuff on ebay)

What is a good part time home based business idea

I have a flexible schedule and am considering doing some type of work from home. Any ideas? If you are a business owner, what do you do?Please, no MLMs. They arent for me. Thanks Answer1:check out this web site it has the info your looking for.http://howtomakemoneyoffofyourwebsite.bl... Answer2:try this site, it helped me make money with affiliate marketing.http://maverickmoneymakers.cjb.net/ Answer3:Take 5 minute yes/no surveys. Get paid for each one that completes. Right now there are 5 $3 surveys that take 1 minute to complete. This is legit. You ALWAYS get paid. Great for teens, students, stay at home moms, and retirees.http://tennisgeezer.googlepages.com/make...Making money online is great. Try this out. Easy and legit. Answer4:try cooking and selling sweets. Answer5:Well as for a business from home,i got an idea thats what i do myself, its a great home business.check www.maximumsuccess.com/henson Answer6:I know you said no mlms, but a lot of the surveys and such are scams or pay very little. I am with a direct selling company. However, you can operate it without recruiting other distributors. It is the only direct selling company to market beef jerky and other meat snacks. So it is true that it is a direct selling company, but, you can become involved without building a downline. You can simply operate your own meat snack distribution business selling to stores or doing fundraisers, etc. For more info, check out my website: http://www.sweetjerky.net Answer7:Most home based businesses are MLMs and you have to be willing to invest money. A good one (not MLM) is found at www.joboffer.sitesvp.com you are not required to invest anything and you work at your own pace. It is not a MLM. Check it out.

Does this sound like a good idea for a business

My friend and I had an idea for a tea shop. We would call it Pups and Cups, where people could bring their dogs for a tea party. There would be tea and snacks for the humans, and warm chicken/beef broth and dog biscuits for the dogs. And another random idea I had, would be to have a little boutique in the tea shop, where we would sell things for both dogs and humans. And in the boutique we would sell stationary with flavored envelopes, and have a flavor that both dogs and humans could enjoy... that way you wouldnt have to taste that nasty envelope glue when sending letters.I know this is silly and random, but I thought it sounded like kind of a good idea. And also keep in mind that if we do it, it wont be anytime soon since we are only 18. What do you think?.--Answer1:LOL go for it :).--Answer2:lol...it might be silly...but i am silly enough to bring my dog there too..lol. I think it would be awesome! My dog would LOVE it. Good luck to you and let me know if you ever open...i might have to bring my dog:).--Answer3:Sounds good but I dont think selling food to humans and dogs in the same place will pass city ordnance.--Answer4:sounds like great fun and prosperous ~ if you lived in the United Kingdom (England) where they allow animals in restaurants.I think you run into challenges mixing food and animals together in most North American cities.I believe that they only animals allowed in restaurants (tea house, etc.) now are seeing eye dogs and other of like nature assisting people.--Answer5:Tea shops for people can be fun. I wouldnt go into one with my dog though, and I wouldnt enjoy my tea with dogs around. To get dog items in small quantities would cost you more, so you would have to charge more. Most people wouldnt pay more for things they could get in Walmart. Envelopes that dogs enjoy? I dont think so. I dont think it would work, but I would never tell you not to try, if thats what you want, and you can fund such an adventure. Good luck..--Answer6:Time for some market research. Lots of dogs where you live? There is a depression going on, hopefully you live in an upscale neighborhood. Do any of the pet stores near you allow people to bring their dogs? Go talk to the manager and ask him or her about the problems of allowing dogs in the store.Im not big on tea shops myself, but I have a beautiful female Akita named Sophie. Akitas are aggressive toward other dogs. If I brought Sophie to Pups & Cups, she would probably wreck the place wildly chasing other dogs. Lawsuits would probably result and heaven help us if any other dog got injured. Im obviously not going to take Sophie to tea, but someone else may bring an aggressive dog, for whatever reason. Think about it, stuff happens.Grandpa.--Answer7:In China, there is kind of saying: Starved camel is bigger than horse. Means, a thin and skinny camel is even bigger than fat horse, which means, once you begin to own a business, even if its not running well, you will still get more than working for a company. So whenever there is business idea, go for it now. Once you start, you will do it well. You may fail for the first 2 or 3 ideas, but you will eventually work out.
