So I beg your pardon in advance If Ill make a mistake of mis-spell.Id like to know if, in this period of crisis, is it convenient open a bar or pub/disco pub or similar in USA.Here in Italy this typology of services works quite good. But in USA? Is restaurant industry conveient?I ask this, because my dream would be live and work in USA.And could be an Italian restaurant work?Thank you very much. Answer1:Gas Stations are busy if they arent greedy owners, but the whole world is cash short and over spent on credit. Opening a bar or a restaurant or combined both would be (in my small brain) suicidal at this point in history. But their are always needs for new and better pizzas, sauces and meatballs. The fact is finding a niche dinner house in the right place with the right food, ambiance and location is the dream of millions. If you open a bar there will be bar flies (regulars who will be there every day unaware that they are ruining the customers dining experience by being drunk and disorderly) open the bistro serve wine and beer without a bar.....
