Question about Craigslist

I want to buy then re-sell for a profit for some extra cash (college student here)How do I know if the product will re-sell for a better price, how do I know that Ive gotten a good deal?thank you.--Answer1:intuition. Theres no sure fire way to know if youre gonna be able to resell at a higher price. My advice: instead of buying off craigslist go to a goodwill or yard sale hunting. youll get things cheaper most likely. then resell on craigslist..--Answer2:First of all, not to be a downer, but you probably wont turn that much profit realistically, but still a fair amount. First thing to do is to check the free section all the time. That way your net profit is 100%. A while ago a guy was giving away his plasma TV because he didnt want his wife to get it in the divorce suit she was filing.Second, check mostly electronics and areas like that. The other sections usually wont have things you can resell for a good price. Cars for example, have potential but will be a pain to sell. Third, watch for "wanted" adds. People in there are sometimes desperate to get what they need, and if you have access to that item for cheaper then you have an easy sale..--Answer3:If you khow how to fix up bikes, like replacing a tire, cleaning it up a bit, my husband and i are college students as well, what you need to do is go to garage sales and pick up bikes, clean them up a bit and resell them. My husband bought this one bike for $10 and sold it for $150, all it needed was a new tire, you can pick up bikes for like 5 bucks and sell them for $50. Easy money, hit up garage sales, also cab overs and trailers, bought one for $200 sold it for $700. do a little research and know the market, also if you are renting an apartment in a desirable area like a big city, rent out your place and crash with a friend. Come on man ya got to get creative! Good luck to you, i am in the same boat
