I have an idea for a baby product that I think would really sell, but Ive no idea where to start with it. Im not even sure if the idea is feasible, so how do I speak to someone in confidence knowing that my idea wont be stolen?Sensible answers only please!! Thanks..--Answer1:maybe you need to think about a Patent--------------------------------------...The Intellectual Property Office can help you get the right type of protection for your creation or invention.Intellectual Property (IP) is created when an idea takes some tangible form. IP can mean a brand, invention, design or other kind of creation and it can be legally owned. But how can that help you? See more in Why use IP?The Intellectual Property Office is part of the Department for Innovation, Universities & Skills External Link.--------------------------------------...Maybe before hand you need to think over your idea, look at other products and define the market..--Answer2:Why not start by getting Copyright for your product first? Then no one can steal your idea for themselves. For your product however, ask yourself these questions:> Who is the target audience?> Why would they choose/purchase your product?> What would my product be used for?> Pricing?> Packaging?> Where will it be stored? (Stores, location etc...)Then you can get a general idea about your product and conclude whether it will be successful or not.Happy Christmas! :D.--Answer3:You have already taken care of the hardest part and that is the idea! Davidson Invention, I think is a safe company although I have not had a need to use them. I am in business start up, promotions, graphic designs, and on. You should research first to make sure the product is not already available and then create a promotional package, simple and to the point, like a presentation of your product. Of course the patent, you should first do the research and get free consult. You do need to keep quite until you have established a "ownership" of the idea.I hope you have a "money-maker" and good luck.
