Hello, I was the winning bidder for an item that the seller doesnt want to sell because the price did not reach high enough for them. They have apologised and refunded the Paypal payment but are EBAY rules and regulations legal, whats the worst that can happen???.--Answer1:Any offer to sell is only an "invitation to Treat", and can be withdrawn at the sellers discretion. The same is true of any buyer. How would you feel if after you put an item in your basket at the Supermarket (but before you reached the checkout) you were suddenly legally bound to buy that item? Would that make any sense to you?
