My friend works at Canadian tire, and he has to work 9 hours, in order to get paid for the 8, thats fine. But they get no break if they work 5 hours, 5.5 - only six is break redeemable. Is that even legal? Its in Canada, and hes considered a Part Time employee. You do get a break for 6 hours, but only fifteen minutes, anything under 6 he gets Nada..--Answer1:yes its the same at IGA
