Ok so I placed a bid on this ebay item that I want to get my daughters for christmas, it ends in three days. I placed a really high maximum bid on it, and this annoying bidder keeps trying to outbid me, but she never does because of my high maximum bid. I really dont want to lose this item, I would like to surprise my daughters for christmas, so what do I do? Should I get in touch with the seller, and ask her if she could end the auction early, and I pay the expensive current bid? What do I do, I really dont want to lose, and this is so annoying! HELP!!!!!!!!!.--Answer1:Well, this is how ebay is supposed to work, so there isnt a lot you can do. There are a few things that might help, though:1) Use the "watch this item" feature and have alerts sent to your instant messenger or cell phone if youre outbid.2) Make sure you can be at a computer, watching the auction for the 10 minutes before it ends. Refresh the page constantly to make sure youre not outbid.3) If the maximum bid that you put in is the absolute most that youre willing to pay, then there isnt anything you can actually do. Prepare a backup plan now for if you are outbid - like maybe put some similar items on your watchlist on ebay, so you can bid on them if you lose this auction.Good luck!.--Answer2:OMG, he/she sounds so annoying, I hope you win!
