this is a question for anyone, all feed back will be appreciated:D:D:D:D:D:Dif i where to start up a small business whats the best way to go about it, im only 20 years old, ive saved up enough money to get a good loan from a bank. see what i was thinking was to start up a coffee shop for mature teens that are between 18-25, its not going to be just for them but aimed at that particular age group. but i dont know what to do, i dont want to start something that will make lose more than make more.so what do you think?should i continue looking into my idea or should i aim at something better??????.--Answer1:I dont want to discourage you but restaurants and coffee shops have one of the highest rates of failure usually occuring in less than one year. Do more research. If you still like the idea of a coffee, drop in to a few small coffee shops and ask the owners if they want to sell the shop. You would be surprised how many want to sell and possibly ytouy may find a deal with all equipment lock stock and barrel butr remember its location llocxation location..--Answer2:Hello Heidi,I admire young people such as yourself, who have the drive and desire to enter the world of entrepreneurship. As someone who has been self-employed for 15 years, I would like to give you some advise.Unless you have invested in a solid business and marketing plan. And unless you have a very strong knowledge of the all the aspects of running a coffee shop, I would hold off on investing any money into the project. My advise to you, if you have never been a business owner before, I would encourage you to get your feet wet in a home based business. The network marketing industry would be a great place for someone such as yourself to start.= Its much less expensive, compared to starting a tradition business.= A network marketing business, will allow you to learn a little about business write offs and business related taxes.= It will allow you to tie into a proven and repeatable system and have someone to mentor you as you learn.Heres a great video to introduce you to the network marketing industry, a.k.a MLM. http://vur.me/sweeper/87962650Much Success,Anthony McNeil.--Answer3:My husband and I have been operating a restauraunt service business for 18 years ( service not operating a restauraunt ) We see restaurants, coffee shops, bars come and go most failing. For a restaurant to last 5 years or longer with the same owner is rare. Athough my husband services them he would never invest in one .
