Selling hand-made jewellery on eBay

If I wanted to sell jewellery that I make in eBay, at what point would I have to register as a shop? Do you have to register the shop as a business, and therefore have to pay tax on it?Im only thinking about this as a hobby, so creating a shop might be too much hassle...
Answer1:just sell it as a normal item and put your shop name in the item description...if thats what you mean
Answer2:hmm.. why dont you just sell them as an item each, if its only a hobby i think people who have shops do it full time!what kind of jewellery do you make??
Answer3:You dont have to have a shop on Ebay, there optional. It just makes things easier for those who have a constant stream of items being listed and sold everyday. You might want to start considering it if your business picks up and keeping up with peoples orders becomes confusing. but honestly, for £14.99 a month its not worth it for selling small-medium sized quanties. You wont have to register yourself as a business till your earning a steady wage from itm if your selling simply as a hobby and a way to pay for your hobby with a little extra cash then you dont need to register.Just list them as a normal listing, as you would if you were selling old dvds or something!
